Meet the Team
Regina Mezzone
Owner
Regina started Loyal Ivy in early 2022 making handmade items at her dining room table. While creating is a passion of hers, she also is very dedicated to helping others. She frequently donates and contributes to many charities and organizations. In March 2022 she started Koda's Corner, a safe and loving space for dog fosters; which is inspired by her first rescue dog, Koda, and her undeniable devotion to help save animals. Regina is married to her husband, Michael, resides in Putnam County NY with their 3 rescue dogs and welcomed her first child in early 2024.
Koda
Pawsident
Koda is almost 5 years old. Her parents, Regina and Mike, rescued her from Paws Crossed Animal Rescue in August 2019. She was rescued from Georgia with her brothers and sisters. Koda loves to play with her frisbee and loves catching snowballs in the snow. She also enjoys going for rides in the car, especially to Chick-Fil-A. When she's not playing, you can find her taking naps and relaxing. One of her favorite things to do is, be cozy and cuddle. She works diligently as the Pawsident of Loyal Ivy and loves her mom, dad and brothers.

Beauden
(AKA Beaudi)
Chief Pawduct Officer
Beaudi just turned 2 in January. He was the first-ever foster at Koda's Corner, and well - found his forever home there! It was meant to be. He was adopted by his parents, Regina and Mike in March 2022. His hilarious, spitfire, wiggle-butt personality has been entertaining since day one. His heart shaped nose is just one little sign of how much love and joy this bundle of fuzzy chunk has to give. He absolutely LOVES toys which has earned his title, Chief Pawduct Officer. When he isn't inspecting or playing with toys, find him asking for pets and massages.

Gunnar
Chief Dude
Gunnar and his siblings along with his brave mama, were rescued by Paws Crossed from North Carolina in May 2022 where they were found stranded and fighting for survival in a garbage dumpsite. After they were saved, Gunnar came to Koda's Corner with his brother Scallop, as fosters, to seek solace and rehabilitation after living in a life-threatening situation. The dynamic-duo stole the hearts of Regina and Mike. With those soulful eyes you can see the story they tell and how much Gunnar must have seen and experienced in his short little life. While Scallop was adopted by another family, Gunnar knew he had already found his forever home. He was meant to be here! You may recognize him too - as he was a Puppy Bowl XIX super star in 2023. He was featured with the stage name "Tom Barky." As a super chill hound mix, Gunnar earned his title Chief Dude. You can find him being goofy or catching some Zz's.
